Personhood

Seeking to broaden their vision to protect the dignity of human life, Personhood teamed up with us to overhaul their web presence.

First things first

At the outset of the design process, capturing the beauty of the human life at its' infancy remained central to our focus.

Ready, set, action

Our challenge was to weave the Personhood message for creating awareness of the dignity of the innocent with an action centric experience inside the NationBuilder ecosystem. Acquiring petition signatures, assembling a network of volunteers, rallying donations via social media and email—a highly engaged user base set the tone for the site.

Simple incentives

We set out to design a simple incentive program for taking action. To do so, we gladly went the extra mile by building a gamified system with badges, points, and leaderboards. The prevalence of this system was made visible nearly everywhere on the site. Given the lack of an integrated badge system within NationBuilder, we were forced to think outside the box and get creative with the social capital matrix of rewards.

Hand Built

Facing the challenge of importing some 400+ blog posts from Personhood's Wordpress site, we opted to build our own blog importing tool using the NationBuilder api. Utilizing our experience of writing several NationBuilder apps, this process went by without a hitch.

Custom Built

Migrating the Wordpress site to NationBuilder presented a challenge of importing some 400+ blog posts.

No problems

Facing this obstacle, we opted to build our own blog importing tool using the NationBuilder api. Utilizing our experience of writing several NationBuilder apps, this process went by without a hitch.
